Life 3 years ago...

3 years ago today, I walked my daughter down the "isle" to her husband to be. They have been together so long that it was like they where married already, but it was still a great day to seal in the formalities.

It was not an isle cause it was not your traditional wedding. It was in Bainskloof at a place called River Edge Accommodation. The small rock houses that the guests shared are all situated along the Breede River. Totally a picture perfect place.

The wind almost blew us all away but who cares. The spit was roasting, the jukebox was playing and the celebrations where well on its way. (even in the jacuzzi's)

If I have to look back on that day, nothing would ever make me think that a dreaded illness would plague my body.

This week has been a hard week with panic attacks, lack of sleep and my chest.

Please can this illness leave my body. It is hard to keep hope and faith.

But today I celebrate with my daughter and son-in-law, may their marriage weather everything life gives them to deal with.
